1.64 inches of precipitation collected in gauge from September 28th to October 4th. The inner
tube of the gauge overflowed and .98 inches remained when I read it - thus .02 inches of
evaporation there. The amount inside the larger tube was .64 inches, a small amount of which
clearly evaporated (saw this on the inside of the gauge) though it is covered pretty well -
probably no more than a few hundredths of an inch.
